Scout PDO

OK, I know it's been aaaages since I last posted, and I've in fact been sitting on the half-finished Scout papercraft for about a year now. But someone else has been making TF2 papercrafts too! Which got me really excited again to get this one out. I don't have a photo, and I haven't built all of it, but I'm pretty sure it's possible. So far I've built the legs and wait, left arm, bat and head. The head was pretty tricky, but possible.

If anyone builds this, please e-mail me so I can put a photo up! I know nobody likes unproven papercrafts.

OK, the Spy is finished and ready to build! Further down is a link to a rar file with instructions, sheets, finished pictures and the .PDO file. The instructions aren't perfect, so using the .PDO file will be pretty essential. If you do make this, please leave me a comment, I'd love to see!

TF2 Crafts

So my first project is to try to make the TF2 guys, as in this image (way to start off small).

I've been thinking about this for a while, and decided to use the low poly models made by Tom Tallian as a base for the crafts. I then posed the model, edited it to be buildable and re-textured it using Valve's TF2 textures (highly modified and chopped about). This means I get the simplicity of the low poly models with the detail of the official ones.

The spy has been built, albeit sloppily, and I am currently tidying up my files and putting together instructions.

The scout is currently in pepakura and I am a lot more confident this one will work, so I will most likely outsource the test building - if you would like to help, please leave me a comment!
